Google researchers report that an AI-assisted ultrasound model, trained on data from North Carolina and Zambia, was tested prospectively at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago and Jacaranda Health clinics in Nairobi. After limited tuning on 120 Chicago participants, the model was evaluated in Nairobi without local fine-tuning, including on multiple-gestation pregnancies.
