Deep dynamical models of single-cell multiomic velocities predict loss-of-function and rescue perturbations in B cells nature.com
Researchers introduced DynaVelo, a neural ODE model that uses single-cell RNA and chromatin-accessibility data to reconstruct cell dynamics and predict genetic perturbations. In mouse germinal-center B cells, it identified disrupted trajectories after heterozygous loss of Arid1a or Ctcf and predicted Ctcf, Stat3 and Bcl6 as targets to rescue Arid1a-related defects; experiments in double-heterozygous mice confirmed rescue of the dark-zone phenotype.
