Google has open-sourced TorchTPU, a PyTorch backend for running models and operations on its Tensor Processing Units. The Apache 2.0-licensed project includes custom PyTorch kernels, XLA compilation caching, `torch.compile()` integration, and examples for distributed training and inference; version 0.2.0 is available on PyPI.
