Cloudflare’s Cloudforce One says its network mitigated 18.2 million network-layer DDoS attacks in Q3 2026, up 208% year over year; most lasted under 10 minutes and stayed below 1 Gbps. Attacks exceeding 1 Tbps fell from 805 in Q2 to 251, while DNS amplification and other UDP floods grew sharply, and the United States became the most-targeted location.
