Early progress on accelerating drug development with Claude anthropic.com

Anthropic says Claude has supported drug-development work with six partners—BigHat Biosciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Divergence Labs, Enveda, Generate Biomedicines and The Column Group—and in Anthropic’s own research. Reported early results include improved antibody candidates, food-allergy drug designs, faster regulatory paperwork and a CAR T-cell design that produced about 10 times as many receptors in lab tests; most projects remain preclinical. Anthropic also says it acquired Mithril Medicine, whose muscular-dystrophy research produced promising results in mice, and plans to expand its drug-development efforts.
