First reactor unit launched on <i>Chukotka</i> icebreaker world-nuclear-news.org

The first RITM-200 reactor unit has been started up on Russia’s nuclear icebreaker Chukotka, the fifth Project 22220 vessel, built by the Baltic Shipyard. The ship has two reactors, each producing 175 MW of thermal power; the plant will undergo further testing after both units complete their initial start-ups.
