Vegas beat Toronto 4–3 in a shootout after Toronto led 3–0 in the 1st. Vegas outshot the Leafs 36–15 from the 2nd period on and 43–24 overall. Bobrovsky stopped 40 of 43.

Toronto went up 3–0 inside nine minutes, then Vegas scored four times (three in regulation, one in the shootout) and took the extra point. This is the first meeting of two this season: the second is Dec 12 in Toronto.
